Work and Education
Dr. Reed has taught full-time at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing since 2023. With a clinical background in emergency/trauma and peri-anesthesia care, she instructs students in Intro to Professional Nursing, Health Assessment Skills Lab, Purposeful Learning Lab, and Level 1& Level 2 clinicals.

Service
Dr. Reed currently serves as a faculty advisor for the Multicultural Student Nurses Association (MSNA) and is an active member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and the Educational Technology Committee. She is also a member of the Eta Gamma chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. 

Scholarship
Her scholarly contributions include presenting her Doctor of Nursing Practice project, “Stress Reduction in Primary Care Patients Using an App-Based Mindfulness Program,” at Sigma Theta Tau’s 35th International Nursing Research Congress. She continues to promote wellness and evidence-based practice in her teaching and service.

Beyond Baylor 
Outside the classroom, Dr. Reed is involved in her local community through her volunteer work with the Dallas Chapter of the Junior League. Aside from getting settled at her new house, playing with her dog, and enjoying being a newlywed, Tiphany and her husband worship at Wilshire Baptist Church.
