Background Check

TEXAS BOARD OF NURSING CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK:

All students are required to complete FBI fingerprinting for the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) Criminal Background Check (CBC) prior to entering the nursing program. Students are not advised to begin this process until notified by the nursing school. Details regarding the exact process and deadlines will be sent once your name has been submitted to the Texas Board of Nursing as a "New Accepted Student."

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND CHECK FOR OTHER STATE AND CLINICAL AGENCIES:

An Additional background check will be completed just before the student begins classes. Details will be sent with instructions when this is required.
