The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) will host its 4th annual Student Nurse Summer Camp on Friday, July 31st from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. welcoming this year’s campers who are 9th - 12th graders from schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth community, along with adult volunteers. The camp allows students to hear from nursing faculty, nursing students and tour LHSON, the Clinical Simulation Building, and Baylor University Medical Center hospital. The campers will learn about nursing school programs, admission requirements, and financial support. Campers will have an opportunity to perform a few basic nursing skills and will end the day with an understanding of nursing as a career. This will be an opportunity to become a part of Baylor nursing community for all who attend. Meals will be provided, and registration is free.
