Kendra A. Campbell's professional portfolio is distinguished with over 20 years of experience serving in higher education. Currently, she utilizes her talents and skills as a Senior Academic Consultant-Technology at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas. She joins her fellow colleagues in the nursing school's vital IT department including: Trent Morelock, Director of Technology Support; Elizabeth Calverley, Security Academic Consultant-Technology and David Rivas and Cale Mosely, also serving as Senior Academic Consultants-Technology

Work and Education
Kendra has been a revered part of the LHSON staff since August 2015 originally working as a Coordinator of Academic Success for nearly four years in the Student Services department. She was promoted in June 2018 to Senior Coordinator of Academic Success

Prior to joining Baylor nine years ago, Kendra served in a variety of leadership roles over the years at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas as Director of First Year Experience, Director of Learning Communities, Coordinator of University Success Academy and Academic Advisor. She also worked as a Kerr Residence Director for Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Kendra earned her Masters in Education in Adult and Higher Education (Student Development) from the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oklahoma Baptist University. 

Professional Organizations and Committees
Dedicated to making a significant difference, Kendra was activity involved in the LHSON COVID-19 Team from 2020-2022 handling reporting, tracking, communication, testing and virtual programming. She also served on the LHSON Undergraduate Academic Policies Committee from 2015-2020. 

Awards and Honors
Recognized for her steadfast commitment to excellence, Kendra has received many applauded awards and recognitions. She was given the LHSON Faculty and Staff Award in 2022 and 2020; BaylorPLUS Salute Award from Baylor University Human Resources in 2022 and BU Staff Employee of the Year in 2017.

Community and Special Interests
Giving back to the community, Kendra is an inspiring member of Lake Pointe Church, the North Dallas campus, where she has served on the Media Team. She also enjoys music, traveling, outdoor activities such as being on the lake, watching football and cherished time with family and friends.
