Work Experience
Ms. Quinn has 20 years of experience as a health sciences librarian serving academic, clinical, and community settings. Throughout her career, she has supported the information needs of students, faculty, healthcare professionals, researchers, and members of the public. As Director of the Nursing Learning Resource Center at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, she provides leadership in library services, evidence-based practice education, research support, scholarly communication, and health information literacy.

Her professional work focuses on connecting individuals with high-quality health information, strengthening research skills, and advancing evidence-based practice. She has obtained multiple grant awards supporting institutional priorities, community health outreach, disaster preparedness education, and consumer health initiatives. Her interests include artificial intelligence literacy, evidence synthesis, health information access, and innovative approaches to library education and engagement.

Committees and Professional Service
Ms. Quinn has actively contributed to professional organizations and academic committees throughout her career. Nationally, she has served the Medical Library Association (MLA) through leadership roles including Chair of the MLA Grants and Scholarships Committee, service on the Eugene Garfield Research Fellowship Jury, and participation in additional award and recognition committees supporting professional development within health sciences librarianship.

Regionally, she has held leadership roles with HealthLINE, the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Health Science Librarians, including serving as Chair. Within Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, Ms. Quinn has contributed to academic governance and innovation through service on committees focused on educational technology, graduate education, curriculum development, community and belonging, and student success.

Presentations and Scholarship
Ms. Quinn has authored and presented scholarly work at local, regional, and national conferences on topics including artificial intelligence literacy in nursing education, evidence synthesis methods, consumer health information, global health engagement, disaster preparedness resources, database evaluation, and scholarly communication.

Her recent work includes research exploring the integration of AI tools into undergraduate nursing education, librarian partnerships supporting faculty research, and strategies for expanding access to reliable health information. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences including the Medical Library Association Annual Meeting and regional health sciences library conferences.

Earlier professional presentations include grant-supported disaster health information training for healthcare providers, NIH public access education, and scholarly communication programming designed to increase awareness of open access publishing, research visibility, and author impact.

Community
Active in her community, Ms. Quinn values service, mentorship, and lifelong learning. She participates in community and faith-based service through her local church in Carrollton, Texas and has supported initiatives encouraging leadership development, personal growth, and connection among families and young people.

She is passionate about promoting wellness, education, and service opportunities that empower individuals to use their strengths to support others. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her son, pursuing health and fitness goals, and encouraging curiosity, character development, and lifelong learning.
