Since April 2019, Karla Ramberger, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, has served as the Regional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Vice President of Baylor University Medical Center. The hospital is a five-time Magnet® designated hospital with 914 licensed beds and over 2,000 RNs. Karla has 30 years of healthcare experience, including executive nursing leadership roles serving as CNO and CNE for two other health systems in Dallas and Las Vegas.
Karla received her BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington, MSN from the University of Texas at Tyler, and DNP from Rush University in Chicago. Karla holds the certification of Nurse Executive Advanced from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and serves as a Board Member for the DFW Great 100 Nurses.
