Work and Education
Dr. Campbell has taught nursing at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing for over five years, with a focus on pediatrics and neonatal care. She delivers lectures, develops materials, and evaluates students in undergraduate and graduate courses, including Professional Nursing Med-Surg and Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner I and II. Dr. Campbell emphasizes evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and compassionate care to support student success.

Additionally, she practices as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where she provides advanced care, health promotion, and illness prevention for complex neonatal conditions.

Committees
Dr. Campbell is actively involved in the nursing profession through her membership in several professional organizations. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Texas Organization of Nursing Leadership, where she supports initiatives aimed at advancing nursing leadership throughout the state. In 2023, she joined the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) to remain engaged with evidence-based neonatal care and to promote her professional development. Most recently, in 2024, Dr. Campbell became a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), which further demonstrates her commitment to nursing advocacy, professional standards, and lifelong learning.

Articles and Presentations
Dr. Campbell has made significant contributions to neonatal nursing leadership and quality improvement through various professional presentations. At the Synova Neonatal Leadership Conference, she delivered several talks, including "Psychological Safety: The Key to Preventing Self-Sabotage" (2024), "LEAP Presentation" (2023), and "New Nurse Leader Role" (2023). Additionally, she presented a collaborative quality improvement project aimed at reducing the Peripheral IV Infiltration and Extravasation (PIVIE) Rate in a Level IV NICU as a poster at multiple conferences in 2023. Her earlier work included poster presentations at the UTSW Celebration of Excellence, such as "Reduction of Central-Line Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI)" (2021–2022) and "Decreasing NICU Admissions for Hypoglycemia: The Sugar Babies Project." These efforts demonstrate her dedication to enhancing neonatal care, clinical education, and leadership development.

Community  
Dr. Campbell is actively involved in community outreach through Hope Fellowship Church, participating in various service-oriented initiatives. Her efforts include supporting local families through seasonal donation drives and volunteering at community events. By engaging with the church, she connects with others, gives back to the community, and supports the church's mission of serving with compassion and purpose.
