Work and Education
Dr. Browder has taught at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing since 2023, starting as adjunct faculty. She teaches across lecture, laboratory, and clinical settings. Her instruction is grounded in professional experience, including years of practice in emergency and trauma care at Parkland Health in Dallas, Texas, as well as additional clinical roles throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Currently, Dr. Browder works at Parkland Health as a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner and at Texas Health in the Emergency Department. 

Committees
Dr. Browder currently serves on the Missions Committee and the Scholarship Interest Group (SIG) for Education at the LHSON. In the past, Professor Browder has served on many nursing committees including the College of Nursing Research Committee, Student Nurses’ Association, and the Aggie Pediatric Nursing Association at Texas A&M University, and the Unit Based Council at Parkland Health.

  • Board certified in Clinical Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing (CNEcl)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor

Community  
Beyond her academic and professional roles, Dr. Browder serves the community through her church membership. She serves on the medical response team and has volunteered with the Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) through her church. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
