Teaching 
Dr. Good is a Clinical Associate Professor with diverse work experiences spanning a 30-year nursing career in progressive care, oncology, medical-surgical nursing, infectious diseases, wound care, and family practice. She is board certified as an ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner and a NLN Certified Nurse Educator. With nearly 15 years in academia, Dr. Good has taught undergraduate and graduate education and has coordinated the FNP programs at two Big Ten Universities.

Dr. Good has received many teaching awards and fellowships from Purdue University including the Exceptional Early Career Award, Patsy Mellott Teaching Innovation Award, Innovation in Helping Students Learn Award, Teaching Academy Fellowship, Teaching for Tomorrow Fellowship, Jane S. Link Outstanding Teaching Award, and the Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. She also received her chapter’s Sigma Theta Tau Excellence of Nursing Practice Award for her work in HIV prevention.

Community Engagement
Dr. Good is passionate about improving patient care access for vulnerable populations. She was one of the first clinicians at Indiana University (IU) Health to focus on annual wellness visits for the Medicare population, and she established the first HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) clinic in IU Health’s west central region. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, NLN, and Sigma Theta Tau International. She has served on numerous academic committees including the Graduate Admissions, Graduate Curriculum, Graduate Student Affairs, Faculty Affairs, Simulation, Mentoring, and Continuing Education committees. She has also chaired many DNP student committees. For over 20 years, she has volunteered in her church community as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, VBS group leader, summer camp counselor, and women’s ministry leader. She is also active in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) International. She loves spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and reading.
