Work and Education
Working in Psychiatry for over 30 years. I am currently specialized in Telepsychiatry services across the lifespan with a holistic focus in women’s mental health services. I received my Master's in Nursing Education and have been teaching since 2002. I received my Post-Masters Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and my Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree both from Georgia College and State University. I am board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family PMHNP.

Committees
In the past, I have served on many Nursing School Committees. These include the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, Academic Affairs, GANS, DNP Project Committee, and served as a Minority Advisor.

Honors and Professional Organizations 
Dr. Jenkins-Jacobs is an active member of I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the Association of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Association.

Dr. Jenkins-Jacobs has published and presented on subjects related to nursing education, mental health nursing, and telehealth.
