Dr. Sahr Mbriwa is the Chaplain at Baylor University’s School of Nursing. In addition to his responsibilities as Chaplain, he also writes and teaches on spiritual formation and ethics. Sahr has served in various leadership roles over the last decade as a pastor and non-profit program director working with at-risk children and their families. Dr. Mbriwa received his BA from Penn State University, his MDiv from Westminster Seminary, and his doctorate from Missio Seminary. His research interests include Practical Theology, Leadership Studies, Old Testament Lament, Ethics, and Contemporary Issues in Healthcare.
Community & Family
Dr. Mbriwa and his wife, Lisa, live in Dallas, TX, with their five boys. Sahr enjoys reading, traveling, watching / playing sports (go Arsenal!), and a good cup of coffee.
