Dr. Lori A. Spies was selected for a 2017-19 Fulbright U.S. Global Scholar Award. The award will allow her to teach and collaboratively conduct research in India, Vietnam and Zambia to determine best practices for educating nurses about hypertension. Marie Hastings-Tolsma, PhD, CNM, FACM
Dr. Hastings-Tolsma was a U.S. Fulbright Faculty Scholar to South Africa in 2012-2013. The University of Johannesburg was the host institution. During her year in South Africa, Dr. Hastings-Tolsma taught in the Department of Nursing Science and conducted research which focused on the use of indigenous herbs during pregnancy and birth.
