Work and Education
Doctor Ciprien has taught nursing at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing for over 6 years. Doctor Ciprien has had a very diverse nursing background including, Medsurg, labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care (NICU) and nursing leadership. Doctor Ciprien holds a nursing certification, RNC-NIC (neonatal intensive care nursing).

In the past, Doctor Ciprien has served on many Nursing School and hospital Committees. These include the Undergraduate Curriculum, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Shared Governance, Quality Improvement, Perinatal education, and Professional development.
Community
Finally, Mirlande Ciprien is involved in her local community. Aside from spending time with her family. She volunteers for hospitality committee at her church, women’s ministry, health ministry and teach the children bible classes and scouts troops.
