Work and Education
Professor Calverley has taught nursing at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing since 2019 as adjunct faculty. Specializing in medical surgical nursing, critical care, women’s services, and school nursing, she teaches students through lab and clinical settings. Her clinical and lab teachings are informed by years of professional experience practicing critical care, women’s services, and school nursing at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Dallas Independent School district in Dallas, Texas.
Professor Calverley is currently in her second year of her DNP program at Abilene Christian University with a research focus on undergraduate nurse coping mechanisms in the clinical setting.
