LHSON Welcomes Sarah Beth Rogers as New Events Coordinator

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) is pleased to welcome Baylor alum, Sarah Beth Rogers, as the new Events Coordinator. Her responsibilities include coordination of all LHSON events through collaboration with volunteers, faculty, students and community vendors to conceptualize, plan and implement internal and external events.

Prior to joining the LHSON, Sarah Beth served as General Manager for Cultivate7Twelve in Waco, Texas where she managed the art gallery; collaborated with over 50 local businesses to plan and execute up to 20 monthly public and private events; brokered and supervised new business partnerships; directed promotional videos, podcasts, TV interviews and social media and created positive professional relationships with clients to facilitate gallery curation and new talent. Sarah Beth also worked for Pine Cove Bluffs Camp in Tyler, Texas as the Retail Manager infusing her dynamic skills in leadership, collaboration and operations management.

“We are excited to have Sarah Beth on our team of talent,” said Whitney Taylor Cortner, Director of Marketing & Communications, LHSON. “She will be a strong asset to the nursing school with her compassionate nature along with extensive experience in the fields of event coordination, corporate communication and design.”

Sarah Beth has a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication with a minor in Studio Art from Baylor University. She is also the recipient of the Marion Huber Learning Through Listening Award.
