LHSON Welcomes Dr. Keith Wickliffe as Director of Student Services

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) is pleased to welcome Keith Wickliffe, EdD as the new Director of Student Services.

Dr. Wickliffe has seventeen years of professional experience supporting college students in their academic and personal pursuits in college. One of his professional areas of focus is increasing student persistence and retention through innovative initiatives and collaboration across university staff/offices. In addition, he has spent over twenty-three years in college student housing meeting the unique and varied needs of students living in a shared collegiate living environment.

“We are fortunate to have Dr. Wickliffe join the nursing school to lead the Student Services department,” said Dr. Marie Lindley, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, LHSON. “We welcome his revered knowledge in working with students as we strive to integrate faith with learning, leadership and service for these future Baylor nurses.”

Prior to joining Baylor University, Dr. Wickliffe served as the Associate Director for the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Housing and Residence Life. He was also the Assistant Director for North Carolina State University, Department of University Housing and Coordinator for Residential Communities-Garcia Hall for New Mexico State University, Department of Housing & Residential Life.

Dr. Wickliffe completed his doctorate (EdD) in Adult and Higher Education from North Carolina State University, Masters of Science (MS) in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. In addition to his many achievements, he holds a certificate from Florida State University in “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace.”
