Work and Education
Professor Reed has taught nursing at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing in the Health Assessment Open Lab while completing her DNP. Specializing in emergency and peri-anesthesia care, she will begin instructing students full-time through the Health Assessment Skills lab and clinical settings this Fall.
Committees
In the past, Professor Reed has served on Nursing School Committees. These include the Graduate Studies Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She also began the Graduate Student Nursing Association.
Articles and Presentations
Outside the classroom, Professor Reed has submitted her project titled, “Stress Reduction in Primary Care Patients Using an App-Based Mindfulness Program,” to Sigma Theta Tau’s 35th International Nursing Research Congress for presentation consideration.
Community
Finally, Tiphany Reed is involved in her local community. Aside from recently moving back to the DFW area and planning her upcoming wedding, Tiphany is excited to return to Watermark Church.
